Hey Little Buckers

Mutton Bustin’ at Bulls on Bolivar

Get ready for big smiles and even bigger cheers! Little Buckers Mutton Bustin’ is where our youngest cowboys and cowgirls take center stage, showing off their grit, courage, and rodeo spirit as they hang on tight and give it their all.

This fan-favorite event is all about fun, safety, and unforgettable memories for kids and families. Helmets and protective gear are required and provided, trained staff are on hand, and every rider is celebrated — whether they ride for two seconds or eight.

Cost: $25 per rider (only 1 ride per child)

Eligibility: Riders must be 8 years old and under and weigh no more than 50 lbs.

Limit will be 25 riders. Pre-registering is best to secure your spot.

Hosted as part of Bulls on Bolivar, Little Buckers helps support the mission of the Bolivar Arena Association, raising funds to build a permanent arena that will serve our community, support local volunteer fire departments, and provide a home for future events on the Bolivar Peninsula.

Hosted as part of Bulls on Bolivar, Little Buckers helps support the mission of the Bolivar Arena Association.

Bulls on Bolivar is the inaugural bull riding event hosted by the Bolivar Arena Association on the Bolivar Peninsula and serves as a primary fundraising effort toward the construction of a permanent rodeo arena for our community. Once completed, the arena will function as a multi-purpose facility, hosting rodeo events and expanded western programming, while also supporting agricultural initiatives, youth and vocational education, emergency response training, and community gatherings. This facility will strengthen local resources and provide long-term benefits to our volunteer fire departments, schools, and nonprofit organizations.
